Ten Artists, Ltd. Big Art Sale At Oven Park

On March 17 & 18, The Ten Artists, Ltd. will be hosting their biggest art sales event of the year, with each of the members showing numerous works. Unlike the usual gallery setting, the abundance of pieces in this show will be staggering. The group produces quality work continuously.

Ten Artists, Ltd. is a team of ten talented female artists who individually create their own vibrant and meaningful works of art. All are award-winning local artists. The current members include Susan Allen, Mary Apple, Jennifer Clinard, Wendy Devarieux, Rosemary Ferguson, Nina Allen Freeman, Rene Lynch, Judy Nable, Bev Sipos and Pam Talley.

The "Big Art Sale at Oven Park" opening will be at Dorothy B. The Market District will be showcasing the work of Tallahassee artists November 9th 2013 from 10-5pm, during a one day "Pop-Up Art Show" Come see the amazing variety of art that is available and affordable in our area. Paint The Pavement - A Live Art Project

A group of Tallahassee artists will paint two road intersections as a live art project on November 2, 2013 from 6:00-10:00am in the Market District in North East Tallahassee. The public is encouraged to turn out and watch the group of artists, teachers and students as they create this permanent outdoor art installation as part of the City of Tallahassee's "placemaking" effort.
Art teachers from Gilchrist Elementary, Maclay School and Brush & Palette Art Studio, their students and local artists have formed two teams to paint the intersections at Market Street at Maclay Commerce Blvd & Martin Hurst at Timberlane with specially formulated highway paint. The colorful project is meant to be a traffic calming device in these busy intersections as well as creating sense of place for the Market District. The City will be on hand to close the streets during the four hour event. The public is invited to watch the design unfold.

New Work By Ten Artists, Ltd At Eye Associates

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Ten Artists, Ltd. group has installed new works of art in the lobby at the Eye Associates of Tallahassee. Over 50 pieces are hanging in the beautiful atrium lobby at 2020 Fleischman Road. The Ten Artists, Ltd are a group of area artist who meet, critique and show their work together. Included in the group are Mary Apple, Rosemary Ferguson, Nina Allen Freeman, Rene Lynch, Fran Mathis, Judy Nabel, Vivian Sherlock, Susse Sherwood and Pam Talley. The exhibit is open to the public 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

TALLAHASSEE - The "Power of Ten" show will debut April 5-27, 2013, at LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts located at 125 N. Gadsden Street. There will be an opening reception at LeMoyne Friday, April 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Art lovers and the public are invited to see the experience and wide range of painting styles, from contemporary abstract to detailed realism. Each artist has her own story and is a recognized name, but together they are more powerful.
